Best Banana Bread

Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 3 ripe Bananas
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Grease a loaf pan with Pam or any equivalent non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar and butter. Use an electric mixer to beat them together until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. In a separate small bowl, mash the bananas using a fork. Mix in the milk and cinnamon to create a flavorful banana mixture.
  6. In another bowl (yes, you might have quite a few dirty dishes by now), whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Now, it's time to bring everything together. Add the banana mixture to the wet mixture and stir until well combined.
  8. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until the flour disappears. Be careful not to overmix the batter.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  10. Bake the banana bread for about 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Allow the bread to cool on a rack for about 15 minutes. Then, remove it from the pan, invert it onto the rack, and let it cool completely before slicing.
